When you arrive in Corolla for your summer vacation, you’ll find there’s so much to see. We like to think we are the best kept secret in North Carolina’s Outer Banks, and if you explore on your own you might overlook a few hidden treasures. A guided tour led by one of our experts is a great way to discover the full natural beauty of our beaches.
On the sea or on the sand, these tours show you the best of Currituck County. Our friendly guides know exactly where to take you for a grand adventure. Be sure to book well in advance so you have your desired tour time during your stay in Corolla. Reservations are open now for the following tours:
Wild Horse Tours
While 4×4 vehicles are allowed on our beaches, and some visitors drive out to search for our beautiful Wild Mustangs, we recommend taking a tour. Wild horse tour guides know where to find the horses’ favorite places to relax and play, and this way you can leave the driving to somebody else.
Guided horse tours are typically for all ages and average two hours. Passengers ride either in open-air vehicles like Hummers or other large SUVs. Consult the tour company you wish to book with regards to pricing, group rates, cancellation policies and accommodations for small children and guests with disabilities. Don’t forget your camera!

Tours On the Water
Kayaking, paddleboards, jet skis, wave runners, sunset cruises… there are many ways to enjoy the ocean and Currituck Sound this summer. If you’re bringing your own craft this summer, you can put in at designated spots in Corolla and the mainland.
