While the ocean and tall sea oats make their own music along the shoreline, many local spots also feature their own music and bands throughout the season.
A few lineups are still being confirmed for Summer 2025, but here are some of the main stages where you can catch some new acts and maybe see a few familiar ones:
MAINLAND
Morris Farm Market: This wide-open farm in Barco, off of Rte 158, boasts a new amphitheatre, The Back 40, where big acts can truly draw a crowd. There is plenty of parking and lots of delicious food available for purchase. Here is the summer lineup. Be sure to purchase your tickets early as some of these events are likely to sell out quickly.
Sanctuary Vineyards: Currituck’s own award-winning winery has a wonderful lineup planned for this summer amongst the vines and fields. Stop and sample some of the delectable wines and enjoy some live tunes. Click here for the event plan for the summer.
Blue 42’s Brewing Barn: Moyock is home to one of the newest event sites in Currituck County. Blue 42 is also located on Rte 158 and has a great backyard area to enjoy a brew and some music. To purchase tickets or to see the event lineup, click here.
Buffalo City Distillery: The Northern Outer Banks’ features a new distillery just before you cross the bridge to the beach that features tasty spirits and locally made simple syrups for a great summer cocktail. Buffalo City hosts various events, including live music throughout the season. Check out their website for more information on the latest happenings during your visit.
COROLLA
Sundogs Raw Bar & Grill: A favorite late night hot spot in Corolla features live music and bands throughout the summer, not to mention some delicious food! Pop in to enjoy some of the hottest bands on the Outer Banks. Check periodically for more event listings.
The Corolla Beer Garden: Under the picturesque live oak trees in Historic Corolla Village, you will find the hidden gem- The Corolla Beer Garden. Grab a pizza from Corolla Pizza, grab a beer and enjoy some music under the Live Oaks. Here is their summer schedule.
Uncle Ike’s Sandbar and Grill: Uncle Ike’s is another late night spot to enjoy in Corolla. They are working on finalizing their lineup for the summer, but check back to see who is performing when you stop in.
