Throughout the year when we reflect on the times we spend with loved ones on the beautiful shores of Corolla, we often remember the sea oats blowing in the wind, the harems of wild horses walking the beach or playing in the surf or the time that we spent taking beach walks and telling stories. So many of our memories and experiences surround our time in nature on the Currituck Outer Banks. 
As we prepare and plan for our vacation to the majestic shores of Corolla, we encourage you to also plan ahead by taking the Make It Your Nature pledge.
The pledge is rooted in respect for nature, safety and in partnership with Visit NC and the Outdoor NC Recreation Industry to preserve all of the wonderful things that North Carolina has to offer.
To ensure Corolla and all of the other wonderful attractions in North Carolina are preserved for many generations to come and enjoy, we ask that visitors and locals take the Make It Your Nature pledge.
Families who take the Make It Your Nature Pledge can also bring their confirmation email to the Currituck Welcome Center, Corolla Visitor Center or the Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education to show proof of your pledge to receive a free kids activity kit (for kids ages 12 and under).
