Barry’s at Walnut Island is an Island Paradise located on the Currituck Sound and faces the marshes looking north at the Currituck Lighthouse in Corolla.  The facility includes a full service family friendly restaurant with two waterfront dining rooms, a covered deck with two dining tables, a sports bar including a dance floor and pool table.

The Lodge was formerly a Bass Fishing and Duck Hunting lodge and has been recently renovated to include Themed rooms such as; “Gone with the Wind”, “Pirate”, “Safari”, “Sportsman”, no room is decorated the same.  Accommodations include 8-queened room suites and 2-3 bedroom suites which sleeps 6 guests comfortably, plus a living room area.  Amenities per suites are refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, FREE WIFI and Direct TV service.

Walnut Island Restaurant and Motel also has camping sites.  50 & 30 amp/240 volt electric service RV sites, water, picnic table, grass or gravel surface, FREE WIFI spots, tenting available, 20 amp/120 volt service, Dump Station on site, Free Boat Ramp-Marina, and fishing docks.  OPEN ALL YEAR, closed Christmas Day
