Hammocks, hammock swings and hammock chairs were set up all around, for kickin’ back at customers’ leisure, while a talented weaver was always on hand, crafting a hammock right there for everyone to see — customers just couldn’t get enough of the weaving! That’s not surprising. Watching expert hammock weavers at work can be downright hypnotic, with their one hand dancing through the air wielding a big wooden needle wound with rope, while the other runs along the last row woven, pulling and tightening, pulling and tightening. It’s all about the rhythm, and the feel.
