    Loblolly Estate Event and Wedding Venue

    Loblolly Estate is a historic 31-acre estate on the shores of the Currituck Sound. Just minutes from the Wright Memorial Bridge, the estate offers a beautiful venue conveniently located to serve the Outer Banks, Northeast North Carolina, and Southeast Coastal Virginia.

    The main house features the most amazing Bridal Suite a bride could ask for. The make-up and hair area flow into the lounge and sitting area. The suite pours out onto the back veranda which overlooks the estate grounds, pond, and Currituck Sound. The groom and groomsmen have their own private lounge, where they can relax and dress for the Wedding. The Wescott Barn holds 150 guests. It’s clean white interior with stunning crystal chandeliers allow you to bring your design to life!

    The grounds offer a secluded feel for you and your guests. The photo opportunities are endless. You can make use of the entire property. There are multiple ceremony locations, ample parking and acres of fence lined fields.

    Whalehead Brewery

    Whalehead Brewery is located in the heart of Corolla, NC in the Outer Banks Whalehead Beach community. It will serve craft beer that is manufactured onsite from a five-barrel brewhouse, offering a rotating lineup of traditional craft beer styles and seasonal brews, in addition to select wines. Artisanal pizza will complement the drinks menu.

    Our family owned and operated inn is truly an extension of our home.     Wild Goose Wine Bar opened in June 2022 and offers guests a unique wine tasting experience through self-serve wine machines. Guests can also order a glass of wine from any bottle we carry, or if you’re not into wine, we also offer a variety of beers and non-alcoholic selections to enjoy. The result is more time for guests to learn about wine and relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Our wine tasting machines contain 28 different types of wines and allow purchases by the ounce, half glass, or glass. We also offer more cold draft beers, flatbread pizzas, food boards, and more! 

    Buffalo City Distillery

    Buffalo City Distillery is a Farm-to-Glass craft producer of fine grain spirits including Whiskeys, Vodkas and Gin.  Our state-of-the-art distillery is located just minutes from the beaches in Point Harbor.  Join us for distillery tours, tastings, bottle purchases, gift shopping and seasonally curated craft cocktails in our Dare Forest lounge.     Sound Shore Cottage

    Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway. Historic Sound Shore Cottage on the banks of the Currituck Sound is close to the famous Outer Banks beaches. A short walk away you will find the Knotts Island Ferry and Pass the Salt Café & beer garden. The home features original pieces of sea glass art. A few nearby attractions are Eden Day Spa, OBX Lizard Land, and Coastal Creations sea glass art. Pieces of the home date to the late 1700’s.
